A Mexican restaurant in Seoul that brags it doesn't use lard? Yup, here it is ▦▦ 까사로까 ▦▦

Apparently, the not-so-secret fact that lard is a pillar of Mexican food hasn't made it past the international date line.

Although they do make their own tortillas, fresh salsa and guacamole so it seems like some place I'll have to try out.

I took a short cut through an alley today behind a bunch of restaurants. It is always a mistake to peak behind the scenes in a restaurants. These were all tiny places, more like stalls. All of them, about 8-9 in a row, were cooking split pig heads. I don't know if it was the time of day or week, but it was definitely pig head cooking hour. I am sure it makes everything taste better.
