This is a fascinating document that I think will be the focus of many studies. Explaining increases only in these areas in the entire country could be very instructive.

Andrew Sullivan notes dryly: "Ah, yes, Appalachia and Arkansas. Obviously concerned about marginal tax rates for those earning over $250,000 a year, I suppose."

Slightly off topic...

The implications of your proposed "studies" are very clear, and as always, I'm left wondering about your appreciation for Applachian culture. Can you just accept the aesthetic beauty without the undesirable elements? or should we simply adopt a more paternalistic role?

P.S. If you see any grammitical/spelling errors in this post feel free to point them out- I'll show you ten grammatical experts that say otherwise.
